  1. We had this place booked on a refundable rate . And after watching a few reviews, we cancelled. We had it booked for 4 nights at $230 a night plus resort fee so $280 a night . We cancelled in the end as the rooms are pretty old and only get 4 star ratings .
So we are in the Aria now $120 plus resort fee per night so over a $400 saving . Might rebook if it gets renovated.

  2. Pro tip. Get Mlife membership and parking at Aria is free. I Agree, for the price it needs some more exclusivity such as a lounge. The old tea room isn't that special.

  3. $700 a night, are you out of your mind??? Never understood why people pay so much for a place to sleep. I wouldnt pay $200.00 a night. Im so glad i live here and dont have to rent a hotel room. Even when we didnt live here i was staying at flamingo or treasure for $60 a night i mean why do people pay so much to sleep??? Just doesnt make any sense

  4. Even at $200 a night, why would you pay that, been a while since I've been there but we payed something like $50 a night max at the more common places. $200 a night is not what I'd call easy on the wallet for a room no matter the comforts. If you've got the money then great, but for your AVG person this kind of money isn't even close to being a reasonable price for a room imo

  5. Great review! I definitely would not want to pay several hundred dollars to stay there, but it would be really nice on a discount! I'm glad to see that there was some bamboo for Topher!

  6. Go to Marriot Grand Chateau instead across the street, bigger rooms cheaper, full kitchen FREE valet-parking. I was going to booked for new year's 2019 at Waldorf Astoria I'm glad I didn't. Marriot Grand Chateau is now a favorite for me.

  7. This is the review I was looking for! Glad it's up!

I was able to go to the restaurant and Tea Room at the Mandarin. Both great experiences! I might have to stay at the hotel proper sometime. I'm hoping the mattress is as comfortable as the ones at the Aria. Those were the most comfortable I ever slept on, EVER! Vdara is a close second 🙂

  8. LOL did you accidentally purchase that champagne when you lifted it? Also, what is on the 23 floors between the entrance and the lobby?

  9. Is Walgreen's still there, or did CVS take over Walgreen's? It's been awhile since I've been there. (I had no idea what was in the box.) What is the most Tophers a hotel can get?

  10. Being that this was the Mandarin Oriental just a few months ago, they still have everything Mandarin Oriental in there except the name/logo. That's why there is a Chinese foot spa. Stayed at The Mandarin in Vegas 3 times, and it will be missed, but will try the new rebranded hotel next time I stay in Vegas.

  12. I love your LV videos, keep them up. LV is my absolute favorite destination, we try to go every month. Just so much to explore and I love the atmosphere. Completely obsessed with LV. Thank you!

  13. The Vdara is Much Nicer, bigger rooms…plus, if you play the MyVEGAS Slots IPhone/IPad games, you can pretty easily collect enough loyalty points with little or no money spent to get 2 nights free (well free, plus the $44 resort fee…)

  14. That's a $ 100 room in Bangkok…many $ 75 Bangkok hotel rooms have Totos.

I'm pretty sure that was distilled water for the iron…demineralized water prevents deposits from forming and clogging up the innards of the iron (and also prevents mineral brown spots from spotting on a shirt during ironing).

  15. That whole complex is for rich snobs….I highly doubt you would ever get that room for $200.  The pool looks like a glorified bath tub.  Rich snobs don't like gambling or smoking so why do they even visit Las Vegas?  I wouldn't pay extra for any of that crap anyway.  A warm mini bar and a pillow in a box?  What a joke!

  16. We stumbled upon this hotel the night of the big shooting. We were there and up in the bar, which was empty, enjoying the view, and some Pinkberry Yogurt, followed by a venture to the pool on the eighth floor, where we dipped our feet into the running Jacuzzi, and looked out onto the sights surrounding that area. I always said I wanted to go back and actually stay there after that. I was very impressed. It was so calm and serene. Who knew that only a few hours later, a massive shooting would take place?! Scary!

  17. I have one question regarding parking: Can I get free parking at a Casino on the strip for the night even though I am staying at the Golden Nugget downtown?

  18. Thank you for your review on the Waldorf Astoria. I had plan to stay there in March but after seeing your review I decided not to and will wait til after they do the make over.

  19. I remember staying here back in 2012, I payed 250 a night that's when the AUD was kicking ass. Overall experience was great, plus when coming down with a hangover since its not part of a casino, it was on more of the quite side of things.

  20. Yellow Productions, I have not subscribed to your channel for a lack of professionalism. As much as I want to know about this $500/nt. room, it pains me to watch a guy and his beanie babies review it in their socks.

  21. The city center is over rated and is set way back, I stayed at the Aria and it took forever to get to the strip forget about getting to the CSV across the street, ugh……I find the rooms pretty much the same no matter where one stays in Las Vegas, thanks for your review, looking forward to others!

  22. When you stayed with points, were you still charged a resort fee? I’m a diamond member for Hilton, and when I booked a room here, the total I was given was the amount of points I used and then the Resort fee… I absolutely hate that Hotels charge resort fees.

  23. The outdoor pools are heated, so you can swim outdoors in the winter! This is a perk. To my knowledge, only the Mandalay Bay has an outdoor heated pool in the winter.

  24. Another great Vegas review, i have really enjoyed your videos because they are very informative. I would love for you to do a video in Kansas City, you would love the city.

  25. You should go to the Sky loft at MGM Grand pleeeease. I was thinking of staying there but I would like to see a review from you because you’re is some of the most comprehensive reviews ever. Thank you!

  26. Nice vids, very informative. BTW that was a shoe horn. Back in the day they were very useful. For some reason I have a hard time finding them. Keep up the good work. See you next vid.
