This is the ticket counter of Garuna Wisnu Kencana Park. This is Garuna Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, This is the statue of Graun Wisnu Kencana. This is Dreamland beach. I have not seen a better beach than this on my trip to Bali. This was Dreamland Beach, now let’s go to the next beach. I am out for beach hopping, arrived at the 2nd beach, which is Suluban/Uluwatu Beach. I can see the stairs, but don’t know for how long, I will have to walk? I have heard that it’s a very beautiful beach, I hope the long walk is worth it. This is the access way to the beach You will have to walk a long way down. You will have to put in a lot of efforts to go back up, this a really a very unique beach, I have not seen this kind of beach in my life till date. These are caves, Let me just show you the beach, Did you guys had fun watching this? Isn’t it an awesome place. I am sure, you would not have seen this kind of place before. This is Suluban beach, it’s a very beautiful sandy beach. It’s perfect for surfing. Lots of people are surfing here. It’s a pool deck one level down You can book a beach bed there for the day by paying 2,50,000 IDR. If you want to spend a nice relaxing day, you can come to Suluban beach close to Uluwatu beach. Uluwatu temple is not far from here, only 2 KMs from here. I find these beaches more beautiful in comparison to the beaches in Kuta & Seminyak. This place is south of the AIrport, Kuta & Seminyak is the north and in the south, there are beaches of Uluwatu & Nusa Dua. I had thought of ordering something local before ending my trip, there is a cafe on the Suluban beach, I have ordered vegetarian Nasi Goreng for myself here. Nasi means Rice, and Goreng means fried. So this is Nasi Goreng, Indonesian Fried Rice. Not bad, actually. It’s good. Enjoy this with watching the surfing. After seeing this exceptional beach, time to climb up these dangerously steep stairs. These are the stairs, which has to be climbed to go up. It does not take much of an effort to go down. but it takes a toll while going up. I came back up, Now, next stop is Uluwatu Temple. Now I have come to probably the most famous tourist spot, Uluwatu Temple. The process here is similar to the other temples only, buy the ticket, which is 50,000 IDR. Tie the Sarong. And then go inside the temple. This Uluwatu Temple is a very old one, was built in 11th century, Let me tell you the meaning of Uluwatu, Ulu means the edge and watu means the rock. it’s built on the cliff. Edge of the cliff, Uluwatu temple. The Uluwatu temple is exactly right behind me. Like the other temples of Bali, this temple also restricts the entry of tourists. This temple is of Rudra Avtar. Rudra Avatar is of Lord Shiva, he took Rudra Avtar when he did Tandava. This temple is of Rudra Avtar. There one significant difference between Balinese & Indian Hinduism, There are no statues here, but only symbols are present. A few people just told me that, there is probably a Siv Ling here. Which is worshipped here. This place is very famous for its sunset point. The Sunset looks very beautiful from here, if you are coming at the time of sunset here, you must watch the sunset. From the extreme South-West area Uluwatu, I have reached the extreme South-East area Nusa Dua. The place where I have come here is called Water Blow. It’s low tide now, so I am not sure that I will be able to show what I came here for. You can see the smaller fountains there, During high tide, these fountains get very big and these rocks get filled with fountains. I will surely add some footage to show how does it look in high tide. To end my day in Bali, I have come to an open-air shopping arena and its name is Bali collection. it’s in Nusa Dua area. Let me see what all is here, and will get to know how are these malls here in Bali. You will also see that, what all things you can get here. This is the Grand Banyan Tree. Right in the heart of a shopping mall. There is a souvenir shop. I bought this from Ubud. It’s 2.5 to 3 times costlier here in Nusa Dua. So, beware of these kinds of souvenir shops and shop from the local market. I took the fridge magnets for 10,000 IDR in Ubud. Here it is for 25,000 IDR. Clearly, it’s 2.5-times mark-up. This the difference between a mall & local market’s prices. The collection here is quite good, a lot of beautiful stuff. Although, prices are on the higher side. But if you are not going to Ubud, and staying only in Nusa Dua then you will have to shop from here. Or maybe from some relatively cheaper malls in Kuta/Seminyak, like, Krishna collections is a big name in Bali. You can shop there, you will get decent prices there. Mainly, I can see eateries here in Bali Collection shopping mall. Eateries for varied tastes, the primary focus is in Sea-food, for obvious reasons. There is a book store too, ATMs, and a Super Market. This is Coco Super Market, It’s just like Big Bazaar & Star Bazaar in India. It’s on the similar lines. You will get all the necessary items here. All the daily use items like spices, food & water. Or clothing, camera equipment. Luggage. Souvenirs are also here. Everything & anything you can buy here. But, the prices of Souvenirs are 2.5 to 3 times higher here also, just like the previous shop. I was wandering in the Bali collection then I met Hemwant while roaming in the mall. He is from Ranikhet in Uttarakhand We talked a lot, tried to understand & know each other. Where are you from & what do you do? Since how long are you in Bali? etc. Discussed lots of things. And Hemwant offered me to come and have Tea. Only I was having tea. He insisted me to have Biryani as well. Hemwant manages The Royal Kitchen restaurant here. He used to work with Hyatt at Bikaji Cama place in Delhi for 7 years. And for the last 2 years, he is in Bali with The Royal Kitchen. Hemwant, would you like to say anything to the Indian guests who come here to visit Bali? There is a homely feeling for Indian guests here, we serve Indian food by the Indian chefs here. All the chefs we have are from Rishikesh, They have a very good experience with the, Indian taste, Indian taste exactly. When you taste you will know. He offered me a samosa as well, look at the size of the samosa. We can make 4 samosas in the one samosa here. Actually what happens, when we eat Indian snacks like Chaat in the evening, it’s very fulfilling in itself. Then is the dinner, definitely we have something with Daal or Vegetable, Understood, like Daal Chawal. That is our evening meal. Daal, Chawal & Roti that we have. That’s why you felt it to be heavy. but guests here will be happy that we serving a good portion. The taste was also very good. I will tell you about Biryani after tasting it, this is Dum Biryani, which we make in Hyderabadi style. It’s very hot and very nice. Seriously, it’s very tasty. If you are coming to Bali, and you are in Nusa Dua area, definitely, you can come here and try. You will not be disappointed if you try in the Royal Kitchen. After completing a circular trip of South Bali on Scooter, and the total distance covered was around 50-60 KMs. Went to several new places, met some new people.
